ABOUT SEVEN

High school ice hockey player in purple jersey driving to the net during a competitive game, battling the goalie in a one-on-one breakaway while a referee observes — showcasing elite stickhandling skills, shooting accuracy, speed, edge control, and game-ready performance for college hockey recruiting scouts and NCAA coaches.

Seven is a passionate student-athlete and dedicated hockey player, born in 2007. Let’s address the first question right away: why is his name Seven? His original due date was 07/07/07. Although he was ultimately born on 07/10/07, his parents loved the name “Seven,” and it stuck.

Seven has been skating since the age of three. He spent his early hockey years playing in the Salt Lake City area, where he competed for several different programs. His movement between teams often reflected proximity and affordability, which is why his path includes experience at both Tier II A and AAA levels. Early in his development, he was primarily utilized as a defenseman, giving him a strong defensive foundation. Since U14, he has played center.

He later relocated to Las Vegas and then to St. George—a city without an ice rink at the time. When a rink was built in nearby Enoch (about an hour away), Seven not only continued playing but also helped build and lead the local hockey community, demonstrating leadership and commitment to growing the game.

Seven’s greatest strengths include his high hockey IQ, soft hands, speed, size, and overall skill set. He is a natural goal scorer and playmaker who brings the added advantage of a strong defensive background. His biggest challenges have been limited regional exposure and financial constraints, not ability.

For programs seeking a true diamond in the rough—a skilled, driven player with leadership qualities and untapped potential—Seven stands out as exactly that.
